For those that plan to be here early, live locally, or have flexibility in their plans, you may want to consider joining us in escorting the Wall from Morgan, Utah to Ogden on the morning of July 29th.
Although not all details are firmed up, we expect to be staging at a location in Morgan, Utah at approximately 10:30 am on July 29th. KSU (Kick Stands Up) at noon.
Morgan is up Weber Canyon, approximately 30 minutes from the fairgrounds. We could stge at the fairgrounds at 9:30 am if there is interest to ride from there.
The last Wall escort we did down the canyon had 300+ riders involved taking up 2 miles of roadway. If you haven't done one of these escorts in the past, you won't want to miss this one!
If you are unable to ride or get here that early but can be to the fairgrounds by 1:30 pm, you can be involved in the setup when it arrives.
On arrival at the fairgrounds, we would appreciate all the help we can get to set up the wall in an efficient and in a respectful manner. If we have enough volunteers, it will go up very quickly. |

The GOTG just got better!
In my last post to that thread that 'disappeared' I mentioned that I was going to be in the area from the 24th on thru the GOTG and I had asked that if you needed any help on the 27th, 28th, or 29th to contact me.
I will be there to ride and help as best I can. (as long as I can find someplace to park the toy hauler until Wednesday night)

I don't know why or how, but I found this topic locked. I have now unlocked it in case anyone has tried to post.
The route for this ride has changed due to gravel concerns over Trappers Loop. It will now go down Weber Canyon and out to I-15. We will head north until the Fairgrounds exit (400 N). and enter through the West Gate of the Fairgrounds.
We are expecting hundreds of bikes for this escort, a similar one a year ago had us leading approximately 300. |

Inviting all from the Salt Lake Area and south or those who maybe come through this area Wednesday Morning, who would like to escort the AVTT Wall, We will be staging to go up together At Dan's Food parking lot 3961 South Wasatch Blvd at 9:15 with KSU at 9:45.
We will be taking the more enjoyably and scenic route up Parleys and Mountain Dell Canyon over the top and down East Canyon.
Again so you don't miss it, Dan's Food parking lot 3961 South Wasatch Blvd at 9:15 with KSU at 9:45.

I'm in Syracuse, UT and was just going to go to Morgan on Wed.
The Idaho Assistant State Captain was planning on being there also...I have contact #'s and will let him know of changes.

Just to make sure there is no confusion here:
We have a couple of staging areas and times for those wanting to ride to the Morgan staging as a group.
In the Salt Lake Area:
Time: 9:15-9:45 am
Location: Dan's Food parking lot 3961 South Wasatch Blvd, SLC
In the Ogden Area:
Time: 9:30 - 10:00 am
Location: Weber County Fairgrounds
NW Parking Lot
Or if you want to go directly to the Morgan Staging Area:
Time: 10:30 am - noon
